Description of 🔧 Rubbermaid 5A47 30-Tool Corner Tool Organizer: Maximize Space & Efficiency

Corner storage maximizes available space. Longer handle tool storage organizes 30 tools. The garden tool rack organizer's plastic construction is sturdy but lightweight and easy to move even when loaded. Easy to assemble without tools. The large, solid base provides stability, so it won't tip over even with large tools stored in it. Integrated holes in the top let you anchor the storage tower to the wall. Size: 19.4" D x 32" W x 20" H and 23.7" corner to corner. Made in the USA.

Not quite what I thought

Unfortunately it didn't last very well. As soon as we added a rake, broom, shovel, and a few other items, it started tipping and has been tipping ever since. We're just waiting for it to fall. Typically with Rubbermaid products, the plastic can be expected to be somewhat brittle but still strong. In that case I think they need to add a "rear cross brace" to keep the top from tipping.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Good but not great

Be very careful what you use it for!

If you plan on storing some shovels, rakes, brooms, hoes, etc. ATTACH it to a wall or other hard surface. If not, it might fall. I bought this post and this corner post and both almost fell on a very expensive car. Physics is not in your favor. The weight of the tool in the rack is high, and without more rigidity and weight on the floor, it will tilt and eventually fall

Fell on my brand new car! piece of trash!

Worked for a few weeks, didn't put too much pressure on me. And now it falls forward. Update: The day after I got my money back for this horrible product, I walked out and found this thing dropped on my brand new 2017 Ford Mustang GT. So if you want to get scratched and dented. The day after I got my money back for this horrible product, I went out to find this thing falling on my brand new 2017 Ford Mustang GT. I'll let the photos speak for themselves!

POS all plastic, bad design

I don't write that many negative reviews but when I really HATE a product I feel compelled to warn others. I really don't understand how my experience with this product is so different from others who seem to like it. According to the product description "it holds 40 tools" but I only have about 20-25 items in it, none of them are too heavy and the bottom of the shelf hangs so low in the middle that it won't even roll on the floor anymore . The vertical risers also flexed. I look like I'm…

Roller holes too big

I just built a shed and wanted something that would keep my tools together in my yard in a more organized way. I wanted something I could easily move outside the shed using the casters that are on the bottom. In this review I will try to answer some of the questions asked. The tower post was pretty solid and easy to assemble, aside from the fact that the rollers went into holes at the bottom but wouldn't stay put. (They are in the picture because they stay there, but as soon as you move them…

This device is garbage! Don't waste money.

I bought this Rubbermaid tool rack last November when we moved into our house. It seemed like the right solution for our garden tools as there was no space in the garage to hang them on the wall. I loaded it up with garden tools as it can hold up to 40 tools. It must have been going on for a while, but I just noticed that the whole block is badly heaped to the right. Obviously the combined weight of all the tools has worn down the plastic supports. This device is garbage! Don't waste money on…

Not All Plastic Is Lightweight

I would like to start by breaking down the impression that just because they are plastic they are fragile. As with anything, how well something works for you depends entirely on how you plan to use it. Due to the design of inserting long-handled items like brooms upside down, I think this suits the task well. If you intend to use it for heavy gardening equipment such as shovels, axes, pitchforks, etc. then no, this is not the right product and I don't expect to find anything strong for less…
