Works well and quietly

I am a GA PA28 pilot and have been using this headset for a year, almost 100 flight hours. My previous headset had non-active noise canceling headphones. My search criterion was a very light headset with a good ANR. I ended up arguing between the Clarity Aloft and the UFQ headset. I was very concerned about the quality of the Chinese headset, but at 1/3 the price I couldn't justify the Clarity Aloft headset. Great headset, nothing to complain about

I bought this headset to replace my ASA PNR headset that I used as a student pilot. I got tired of having a clip-on headset and, being a relatively tall person, I often bumped the top of the headset against the airplane ceiling. (PA-28-140) I had a choice between them and Clearance Aloft, but I have smaller ear canals and didn't want to rely solely on PNR anymore, especially when I put long foam plugs in my ear canals. If I didn't know better, I might be happy.

I have had the Clarity Aloft (CA) headset for over 10 years and love it. While it still works, much of the wiring's protective coating has been damaged through years of being stuck in the seat tracks and normal use. I didn't want to spend money on the exchange and read reviews about the UFQ ANR2. For the price I decided to give it a try. I fly a Challenger 650 aircraft.
