Water Wonders good for me

I'm not quite sure how I heard about the Waboba family of balls, yet I've had a lot of fun this one. And I've had some folks over for a swim in our pool and this is where this ball "shines". It's light weight and a great skimmer. The video I saw was sent to me by my friend Mark Fox(slyasafox.com). Mark is an engineer by training, and a raconteur by desire. Go to his web site and enjoy. He got me going on the Waboba family of balls and I owe him one.

Pros
  • Encourages healthy competition
Cons
  • Might not travel well due to size and weight

Fun for large pools.

This ball is a lot of fun for the kids. I used this in two different, but large pools. You can skip it across the length of the pool and if it doesn't quite make it, the ball floats for easy recovery. The only bad thing I can say about it is that it stings a little if it hits you. I had taken it to a pool party for a bunch of 9 year old boys who play baseball. They can all throw and they can all throw hard. One boy got a nice welt on his back from being hit.Be careful using this in pools with a…

Pros
  • Builds confidence in physical ability
Cons
  • Might require additional accessories for optimal use

Pool fun with super bouncy waboab ball

I saw this item in a shop, but when I went back to buy they were all gone. Luckily it was easy to find on Revain. It's great to throw around the pool. It bounces well and the kids had fun making up games or just playing catch. I recommend the waboba ball.

Pros
  • Great alternative to traditional sports
Cons
  • Only has one primary function

A lot more fun than expected.

Never heard of the thing or used one in the past. Just purchased one to take on a trip to Cancun with two other couples. Turned out to be a big hit. Took a little trial and error to get it to skip in the big pool but once we got it we became the sensation for all the sunbathers to watch. The darn thing really hops on water.seems to pick up speed after the first hop. Definitely got a work out from it. Like me, don't bother with the beginner balls, this one is rated "Extreme" but we got…

Pros
  • 100C03_A
Cons
  • Not suitable for indoor play

Buy more than one!: my feedback

I bought this ball mainly just going off the reviews. I couldn't understand why a ball would have such great reviews but we have a pool and are always looking for something new.As soon as this arrived, I thought the ball was a little small compared to what I had pictured. My boyfriend and roommate took it out to the pool right away to test it out.I couldn't believe it, the ball ACTUALLY BOUNCES off the water. I thought it might skip like a stone but it actually bounces. It was so entertaining…

Pros
  • Waboba Water-Bouncing Balls are great take-along activities for family vacations to the beach or cabin trips and lake days
Cons
  • Could be easily damaged

Amazingly fun and hours of entertainment

We bought this ball before a trip to hawaii with a 7 year old. Amazingly fun and hours of entertainment. Definitely worth buying

Pros
  • Suitable for all ages
Cons
  • Might not be challenging enough for experienced players

Lots of fun on the lake.

A friend mentioned Waboba in passing before my camping trip up to the lake so I bought 2 before we left to help keep us entertained. Went with a large group in their late 20's/early 30's and these are definitely a lot of fun. You need a fair amount of space to make the most of them (preferably free of strangers). These things really take off if you've got a decent arm, and can be very unpredictable. It adds to the fun, but also makes hitting an unsuspecting person a sure thing. If you're good…

Pros
  • My grand children love playing withe it in the swimming pool.
Cons
  • Can be difficult to control direction

Great pool ball in my review

It's good, bounces on water and fun to play catch in the pool or contests to see how many bounces you can get. We took ours on vacation.

Pros
  • Enhances agility and reflexes
Cons
  • Can cause noise complaints in some settings

Everyone Loves it best in my review

This Ball is awesome. It provides hours of fun with family and friends! There is a trick to throwing it, but easy to get the hang of! Be careful with the extreme though, it definitely bounces far!

Pros
  • Encourages outdoor exploration
Cons
  • Can interfere with other activities going on in the area

My cat loves to play fetch and this is the perfect ball for her. She doesn't tear it apart with her teeth but rather can easily carry it. I need t get more because they do get lost easily.

Pros
  • Provides a great opportunity for parents to bond with their children
Cons
  • Only fun with a group of people

WOW! Much smaller than expected.

Wow, were we surprised when we got this ball. It appears to be quite a large ball and in the product description it says 4 x 2 x 6 inches, The only thing correct is the 2" Not sure where the 4 x 2 x 6 inches comes in? Of course, we should have seen the 2.2" in another place in the description, but we didn't. Now when we want to return it, it is "not returnable". So we have a 2" ball that doesn't even bounce on hard surfaces, apparently only in water. And the cardboard box…

Pros
  • Toys & Games
Cons
  • Not ideal for those who prefer sedentary activities

Great for Ocean Play!

I bought this to use in the Ocean and Bay around Cape Cod. It works great. My 30 year-old nephew and 11 year old son both enjoy using it! I'll be buying a few as stocking stuffers for next year's beach season. It skips across the water and takes some WILD bounces (much like a stone skipping across the water) which makes it that much more challenging to catch. Our favorite game is to try and make it bounce PAST or OVER the person who's trying to catch it. Best of all, it's so small you can shove

Pros
  • Can be used on a variety of surfaces
Cons
  • Could lead to arguments over who gets to play

Works perfect: my feedback

Skips really well. Our 4 children (16 yr old and 12 year old triplets) played with this ball everyday on vacation in the ocean for ten days and they never grew old of playing it. Now home they love to play with in the pool as well.

Pros
  • Can be played at the park, beach, or backyard
Cons
  • May not be suitable for all age groups

Great Pool Fun! good for me

We love this ball for our pool! It works great! The only thing is the fabric faded within a few days but it doesn't affect the ball itself. We would highly recommend one of these for the pool.

Pros
  • Can be played in different weather conditions
Cons
  • Could lead to overexertion

Worth every penny good for me

Immediately after receiving this I tried it out. It is one of those things that you don't know what to expect but turns out great. This little ball, about half the size of a baseball, can fly tens of feet (possibly up to about 150 ft). It can bounce on the water up to about 10 feet in the air. It is a fun product to play toss with your family, start a keep away game, or even play a water version of ultimate frisbee. Whenever I go on the water, my friends always want to use it.Pros:- Very fun to

Pros
  • Can be played solo or with friends and family
Cons
  • Can be affected by wind

Awesomeness in a Ball

This Waboba Extreme ball is just awesomeness in a ball. Practice your ninja skills, samurai skills, black belt moves, or sports dives. This waboba extreme will have you practicing it all in the water as it glides across magnificent waves into perfection-able moves in order to catch it! Good luck young padawon!

Pros
  • Provides endless hours of fun
Cons
  • Might require practice to use properly

Crazy and lots of fun

At first I was just amazed at watching it bounce on water. There is supposed to be some kind of real game with it, but we just created our own. I've used it in the ocean and springs, it works best with calmer waters, but if you don't care where it ends up waves can add an interesting randomness.

Pros
  • Stimulates creativity and imaginative play
Cons
  • Not suitable for everyday use

This baby moves! - my new review

With a decent throw, it can skip across an entire Olympic sized pool. It's fun. But it can zing you if you get hit at close range by accident. It's soft on the outside, but very firm inside. "Extreme ball", that's a good name for it.

Pros
  • Waboba
Cons
  • May be unpopular with some friends

Fun for the lake & float trips

Bought this to toss around while on a float trip this summer. Was a lot of fun. Kids and us older folks really had fun with it. It skipped a long way up and down the river. We were pretty far apart.

Pros
  • Helps release endorphins and boost mood
Cons
  • Not recommended for people with hand-eye coordination issues
