Easy do-it-yourself technology

Because my kids kept hitting my MacBook on tables, the bottom came off. At first I thought I'd have to go to the Apple Store for a solution, but I didn't want to pay a hefty fee. Just a couple of google searches showed I needed screws and there were more than enough. Enough screws in case the problem comes up again and they are ridiculously easy to screw in which saved me a lot of money and wasted time.

FITS 2011 MAC AIR

Perfect fit for 2011 Mac Air 11" laptop. I was missing 4 screws and was able to replace them in less than a couple of minutes with no problems. One thing to note: there are 2 screw lengths in this package. I don't know why or what for but I couldn't use the longer of the 2 sizes, only the smaller one. There were only 4 smaller sizes in my package. The bottom of my laptop was open and crashing my trackpad. Now it is completely closed and everything works fine.

Ideal! Computer screws

After confirming they were Phillips head screws, I checked again and found they weren't. I'm pretty sure a screw fell out because the computer was dropped too many times. I carefully tightened the remaining screws, bought rubber feet for two of them that came loose and I'm very, very satisfied. Super fast delivery!

Product works as described

Nothing else to say other than that both the screws and the driver included in this kit worked perfectly on my 15" MacBook Pro from mid 2015. I have no idea why some people complain about bolts not fitting, or why they complain that the tool either sucks by not pushing it down like he/she didn't on the other two bolts, after they replaced my battery as part of Apple's battery recall: Taking this route was MUCH BETTER and EASIER than going back to the Apple Store, which was supposedly a huge…

Good magnetic p5 for MacBook Pro

I wanted to clean my fans in my laptop as it was out of warranty anyway. The little Philips didn't work, so I got a specific screwdriver. I figured the magnet wouldn't make much of a difference, but it made it so much easier since the screws are VERY small. The screwdriver wears out a bit, but I can definitely use it again. If you want to do it every day or very often, look for something better. but this one can definitely be used many times. It was also very easy to remove stripped screws from

Works well if treated properly.

I have a 2013 MacBook Pro and a year or two ago the 1.2mm (very small) screws on the bottom started to loosen and one even fell out. I bought this screwdriver after reading a number of reviews of similar tools. I noticed that most of the tools have high ratings even though 10-15% of the ratings are 1 star. Most of these 1 star reviews complained that the item failed due to tip detachment. I ended up using the Whizzotech tool and can tell the errors are due to too much torque. Due to the small…
