Review on Ethereum Mist Wallet by José A Rodríguez

Not Functional Ethereum Wallet. Impossible to Access to the Main Platform

Ethereum Mist is a kind of cryptocurrency wallet based on the Ethereum platform that has shared common blockchain data through the web in the public windows of the GitHub platform. This makes it a not very reliable release, and less a product to consider since currently there is not purposeful content about it in the platform of support. The wallet stopped being functional, and the innovations and updates for it do not exist anymore.

It was created following a collaboration but in the official sites that offer access to its server, the link is from GitHub. The platform does not own a web page like others. Through the exploration of this page, I found no clear information about the page. There isn't anything complete that helps to understand why the support for this wallet was abandoned.

The last thing I knew about it is that the wallet already completed all the tasks for which it was created. It might not represent a risk since there is no way of downloading the product, but just looking for limited information about it. Anyway, I suggest users keep away from the platform.

Pros
  • The wallet has not received support and management. No positive features to talk about.
Cons
  • It stopped receiving updates, development, and support. There is no way of looking at it.
  • There is no correct web page where to access directly to the product.
  • It is a wallet that used to be difficult to manage since the downloading of it was complicated.
  • The team is not present in the GitHub platform where the content of the wallet and the public addresses are yet present.

My favorite part of the wallet has never been a victim of users. Before stopping the service, the announcement was issued and users withdrew their assets. Evidence of this information is now available on github. You can check this out if you want.
