Excellent value for parts for parts

Bought for my 2013 WRX and love it! Sounds amazing and looks amazing, recommend buying the tune if you do! But it's an amazing screw!

Pros

Warm welcome! Attention Tuna!

This air intake is amazing! Sounds good. However, what is often overlooked is that this move requires a melody. I have the TorquedPerformance tuning and it's much better than the standard Accessport cards, but you have to spend an extra $100 on top of the recording cost.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Small details

Pleasantly Surprised

I was amazed at how much more aggressive this thing made my Subaru. (WRX 2009) There is very noticeable pressure at higher rpm and any turbo application will now scream. I'm not sure I would put this air intake on a sleeper as it causes heads to turn, especially when you press on your foot. Overall, this is a very capable shot that I would recommend to any gang.

AMAZING SOUND for filter

The Typhoon inlet was very easy to install and looks and feels solid. The gas pedal feels more responsive, but the best part is how it sounds. which is AMAZING. You can hear the engine breathing much better, the turbocharger works and the wastegate sounds great. If you don't want the extra noise, the slight increase in performance might not be worth it. But from what I've seen, this is one of the highest quality products you can get.

Pros
  • An absolute legend

  • Minor issues

Perfect replacement air intake

This air intake is suitable for Subaru WRX 2008+. I bought this pickup for a 2008 WRX and you can definitely feel the power increase. You need to adjust after installing this air intake due to the change in airflow. If you don't, you risk getting a little skinny. If you are looking for a quiet entry I would advise looking elsewhere. That suction is loud and you'll be able to hear the suction and release of the BPV valve, which I think is great, but it's not for everyone. The lowest price I…

Great Intake: Air Intake

WRX 2013 with a cutback. It is great. Didn't know that taking it can change the sound so much. I went first with an upgrade to a standard panel filter, which was cool but didn't suck the wind out like this thing did. I have a Cobb AP and just flipped a Stage 1 + SF card. It took a day because I felt like it wasn't working properly. Did some searches on NASIOC and came across Torqued Performance selling 08'+ Subbies cards with Typhoon recording. Horned $85 and loaded the card into the ATP, then…

Excellent reception. Sounds good.

I bought this air intake because my tuner recommended it as his air intake of choice (Eric from TP). It is very easy to install. The hardest part is connecting to the input. Once you plug it in, there's not much wiggle room. The sound is amazing. That thing is incredibly loud. You'll hear that suck almost every time you step on the gas pedal. This also creates a pleasant sound from the BPV. As expected, there was no noticeable difference in performance. It can pull up a little harder, but…

AMAZING piece of technology and machinery.

Received in the mail a few days ago. All I can say is WOW. Took me about 30 minutes to install this in my 2011 Subaru WRX (Yeah Baby.). Immediately I noticed a difference in the sound. Just as my turbine kicks in (about 2000rpm) I hear it more clearly and people who couldn't hear it before can now hear it. Now there is no question whether my car is pumping a turbo or not. All you hear is the extra air being forced through your engine and you feel like an absolute tough guy. Of all the…
