The ease with which one can write custom applications in Python is something I like very much about this product. Also, if you are used to writing code in Java or C#, it will be easy for you to pick up Python since there's lot's of similarities between the two languages. One thing that can be improved is the way ANUTA handles certain network issues, such as multicast group membership tracking, etc. It would be nice to have more granularity when dealing with these types of problems. There is nothing to dislike about this product, it works flawlessly in our environment with nearly 10K endpoints across various platforms (Windows 7/8 as well). No issues or complaints at all really from my side! Would recommend giving it try if you are looking out there for an easy way of managing your network endpoint inventory. The ability to create automation rules with simple logic is very helpful, if you are not familiar with scripting languages like Python or Ruby this could be an issue as well. It's great that we have access to all our data in one place. As mentioned earlier it would also be nice to include more advanced metrics such as packet loss percentage. The best thing I like about this tool is that it gives us an end to end solution, which means we are able to manage all our network assets in one place.
