Sounds better on my 2003 Toyota 4runner SR5. Doesn't make much noise at low revs. Had to do a custom exhaust workshop and do 3 new hangers. money well spent

When our Lexus GX470 needed a new muffler, I chose it because I wanted a little more hum. I had to install a spacer at the muffler shop but they said everything would fit. There's some rumble, but less than I expected, but my wife noticed, so I think it's a good compromise. Fuel consumption has not changed at all!

Installed on my 2005 V6 4Runner. It makes a nice purr when it moves and sounds good when you step on it. There is no such hoarse, choked sound. It's fairly immediate after installation, but becomes more apparent after a couple of weeks. I left the default resonator on to maybe cut it off if that wasn't enough. I'm happy the way it is. Definitely recommend this for the daily driver looking for more than stock but not obnoxious.

I wanted the added torque and mileage benefits of the Flowmaster system, but didn't want to deal with the loud noise that is often associated with the Flowmaster range. For the price, this is the BEST option. I'm happy with my upgrade and while I haven't noticed a huge increase in gas mileage, I DEFINITELY have more torque. I ordered this muffler to replace the stock muffler on my 2005 TrailBlazer with a 4.2 inline six. I asked my local muffler shop to weld it for me as the inlet and outlet diameters of this 2.5" ID muffler are basically the same as my truck's factory 2.75" OD pipe. Obviously this is a generic device so you'll have to find a way to install it unless you're bringing it to the store.
