Hexbug is cool but our cats show little interest in it. The smart, active cat paid us quite a bit of attention, but our boring kitty didn't. An unadvertised feature is that Hexbug picks up clumps of cat fur and drags them to where you can get them: a mini robotic vacuum cleaner.

Works exactly as advertised! Kitty loves this! The only downside is that it's small enough to be swallowed - if not by a cat then definitely by a dog! I tied her to my nylon rope and let the cat play with her while I held her in my arms. Ende watching him intently while the dog is somewhere else.

Bought for my cats and they are going crazy! I only let them play with it when I'm around in case they try to chew the rubber feet, but so far it hasn't happened. They love how the bug straightens up when knocked over and changes direction when it hits a wall. I know it's not made for cat toys but they will definitely love it!

This thing is so cute and I was so in love I bought 3 other Hexbug products but all I had (that I didn't give away) broke way earlier than I think they should. Replacing batteries is not a problem; they just stop working. This is disappointing because I love them when they work the first time!

DO NOT BUY! The toy doesn't work! I also received a broken nano hex bug with a bad battery and it should have been new. Good thing you can't return it. It was a gift for my 7 year old nephew and I had to take it off him because it didn't work. I just lost $11.80 from this company. Don't be fooled like me, just don't buy!

Can't believe I found this online! I've already bought one from Target for double the price. It's exactly the same as the goal! The only thing you cannot control is the color of the bug. This one has turned dark red - looks very cool! I will be buying more of these as gifts for upcoming children's birthday parties! Very happy with my purchase.

Son Cat likes these bugs but we've already lost one in the abyss under the stove. I stuck the needle through the bug's back, through the rubber skin and tied a ping pong ball to it with 6 pound string and it worked perfectly. The ping pong ball is very light but it slows down the bug a bit but now he can play with it and doesn't get hit by the devices and when I put it in his cat ball track it runs but he can't get the bug out and lose it .

I bought 2 of these for my feline friends and I love this product. They are very quiet unlike many other electronic toys I've bought for kittens which were usually too loud and just startled them. Cats are fascinated by the Hexbug nano's very bug-like movements. In fact, they are so realistic that my husband warned me not to put them on the floor late at night while half asleep unless I accidentally wanted to see them crushed!

I got this as a gift for my 3 year old son and he (and his cat) love it! I had to take it away for a while so it didn't completely drain the battery on the first day. I will definitely have to order a few more batteries as I don't think they will last long with as many as he likes. This is the only hexbug we have so far and we don't have a kit for it, so far it's a bug in itself. It was a lot of fun, even without the special cases they make for it.
