Suitable for repairing phones and computers!

Works better than expected. It is very nice to have this and not use a traditional heat gun in both computer repair and cell phone repair. I tested the iMac to SSD upgrade and it worked great. It doesn't get too hot so it might not work with stronger adhesives, but for my use it hasn't let me down yet.

Ideal for cracked screen removal.

. from my son's cell phone. If you're careful, you'll have the same opportunity to fix your phone screen as the technicians at the Sprint Store. No rocket science degree required. You will of course need to buy the appropriate double sided tape, maybe some special glue and of course a new screen. But saves money and can repair other cell phones cheaply in the future.

Cable length is important!

Nice little heat gun. One setting - on or off. The ones with ups and downs (and off) are good, but more expensive. The best part of this long cord. Most in this price range have shorter cords, and having the extension plug hanging in midair while you're working on something is a nuisance. The kickstand is metal, which I trust more than plastic. Lies comfortably in the hand. I paid it myself so you can trust this review,

Nice simple heat gun, works well

I bought this heat gun for acrylic painting to spot bubbles or cells. For this purpose it works great. It heats up very quickly, has moderate heat dissipation (meaning it gets nice and warm but not too hot), has fairly strong blowing power and heat dissipation, and is very comfortable to use. I'm not sure what other projects I'll use it for, but I'm sure I'll find another use for it, it would be great for helping small projects dry faster. I am very happy with my purchase.

Helps remove bubbles from resin

I bought this to help with small resin molds to reduce and eliminate bubbles. This tool helps bring bubbles to the surface quickly and pop them quickly without affecting the resin. Quick hits with the heat gun are enough to get rid of large bubbles. I like that the heat gun feels good in my hand for my (small) hand size. The heat gun has a stand that can be conveniently placed on its side during use. With on/off switch, it is easy to use with gloves and when working with resin! I was very…

Blown out after one use!

I was excited to try the heat gun on my resin projects as it's faster than using a straw or being in a hot room to blow pesky bubbles. When I saw the price I was sold first. Reading the instructions, he says don't use it for more than 10 minutes at a time. Which is logical, since it heats up very quickly. I turned it on about 3 times in 30 minutes, letting it cool down between each use. After the fourth try, the motor stalled and began to make a loud sucking noise, and the nozzle began to…

Makes my life easier

Media could not be loaded. I repair cell phones and tablets in my spare time and previously used a terrarium heating mat to loosen the adhesive between the touchscreen and the LCD screen. Using this method, I still cracked the LCD in about half the units I tried to fix, more than doubling the cost of the parts. This heat gun changed the world! This cuts the repair time by more than half, and now I almost never break the LCD again. Thanks to its light weight, it heats up quickly and easily…

A small dandy heat gun, great within its confines.

Failed to load media. I bought this heat gun because it was cheap and all I wanted was to finally have something better than a shrink tube lighter. It's perfect for that. It heats up quickly, gets hot enough to do what I want, and cools down quickly when I'm done. For the video example, he shrunk the self-adhesive tubing so well that I couldn't even break the metal rods with quite a bit of force. It turns out that in addition to shrinking tubing, it also does a good job of drying epoxy quickly.
