Put the switch plate on immediately. It was a really good idea to put the keys in, but when you have a lot of keys they just keep falling. It's also better to use newer flat switches if you have the same switch as shown in the product image. You'll have a hard time turning it on and off while your keys are hanging there. It's also too expensive I think.

This little gadget really works! Slides onto switch easily and holds keys really well! I had my doubts when I ordered them but they are really great. My son has keys on a cord and he still holds them perfectly. Of course, it's easy to put the keys on the switch and then find them when I leave the house. I like this item and I am delighted that I bought it. Great device, great value for money.

Slip this into my husband's Christmas tights and he was surprised by a pack of small screws but being quite pushy he read the instructions and installed them quickly them in our kitchen near where we used to throw our keys on the counter. Wow! This simple gadget works! For us it was a life hack - no more last-minute frantic searches on the counter, in the desk drawer, in yesterday's pants pockets. That saves us time and nerves.
