Magic Spreadsheet is a tool that allows you to easily create spreadsheets from websites and Twitter accounts.

After signing up I was given a live example of how to use it. It was pretty straightforward. Within minutes I had a nice spreadsheet full of data about my blog posts. A couple of clicks later and I had another spreadsheet full of data about my twitter followers. As an additional feature it lets you scrape any URL (or image) and auto uploads them to a google sheet, which can be edited if necessary. You can then import the spreadsheet into Wordpress to edit it further. I like this because there…

  • Easy to use
  • Very good for people who want their own private dashboard for viewing stats and analyzing data
  • Can make graphs from raw data
Cons
  • Not always accurate
  • The website sometimes slows down after logging in and scraping a lot of data
  • Not sure if you can scrap URLs on Tumblr or Twitter.

This is a simple tool that allows you to collect data from your website visitors.

The idea of automatic data collection is pretty great, but in practice, this kind of service tends to be either unreliable or expensive. What made this particular solution stand out was that they got rid of the expensive component (AI), and just used humans instead, and the resulting app is fairly reliable and cheap! I like that it's easy for me as an admin/manager of this software (and other products) since we use Google Sheets almost daily! It has made our life so much easier in terms how quickly updates are sent out through email or Slack when changes happen within these systems - which really helps with customer service too!!
