Cosmos: joining decentralized networks for a barrier-free internet

Cosmos is a platform that manages to interconnect several block chains to constitute a scalable, economical and accessible ecosystem based on blockchain technology for the development of a decentralized and robust internet. 
Token:
 Cosmos uses the ATOM token to monetize operations on its network. This digital asset is not obtained through mining but is obtained through a betting mechanism. 
Technology: 
Cosmos has a state-of-the-art infrastructure that combines several protocols and computer languages that are very useful in achieving its functions:
  Tendermint Protocol: responsible for speeding up the generation time of a blockchain. 
 Cosmos SDK system: which is responsible for facilitating the development of decentralized applications.
  IBC protocol: responsible for the interconnection between chains through TCP / IPC. The main characteristic of LTO Network is that it is a highly scalable chain because it performs vertical and horizontal scaling on your network. 
This translates into faster processing of large volumes of transactions. Another important feature of Cosmos is that the network focuses on using code snippets to develop user-friendly applications.
 Security: 
Cosmos employs the Proof of Stake consensus protocol. Under this mechanism, the validating members that perform a greater number of ATOM tokens have a greater probability of election to receive rewards and validate operations.
