District0x network token
To enable all internet citizens to freely enter and contribute to any neighborhood, coordinate incentives with all neighborhood members, and implement coherent decision-making mechanisms in the district network, we are introducing the District0x Sign network.
The District0x Network Token (DNT) is a token used by holders to join districts and participate in their governance. Once the District0x network tokens are installed in the district, participants will receive an equivalent amount of voting rights in the district.
Voting rights can be used to participate in the processes that govern everything from the branding of the area, to its adopted code of conduct, to the subsidiary modules that are integrated, and how the fee charged by the subsidiary revenue generating modules is used further.
The Genesis District0x contract will sell 1,000,000,000 DNT tokens. On July 18, 2017, the District0x Factory is holding an initial donation period to kick off the DNT token distribution process and support further development efforts for the District0x project.
For the further distribution of DNT tokens, up to 2 additional periods of contribution can be provided. This can only happen after the deployment of key stages of the roadmap and if additional funding is needed to complete the project.
