This coin is very popular, especially in Asian community. If you know at least a little about cryptocurrencies, you probably heard about Dogecoin. The crypto is quite catchy and thanks to this, it is gaining more and more popularity. In community circles there is the phrase 1 doge = 1 doge. This means that no matter how much a 1 doge costs, its value for followers remains the same. DOGE is the most original and extraordinary crypto. The founders of DOGE wanted to create a coin that would be perceived as something positive and funny (in contrast of the drug related history of Bitcoin). They also created a strong community which consists of very dedicated people that cares about each other. In fact I believe it is also a reason why Dogecoin community has repeatedly supported fundraising activity.
Pros
- The structure of the DOGE code is similar to LTC. A crypt can be used as P2P payment facility. The exchange of various goods on DOGE takes place in online communities like Reddit and Twitter, where users often exchange information related to currency.
Cons
- It would be much better if Dogecoin could find support on other platforms as the form of payment. Also, DOGE developers could be more effective and maybe enable smart-contracts or implement Blockchain-as-a-Service solutions.
