DogeCoin: A Funny Token but A Not Committed-to-Finances Project
Even in the cryptocurrency market there exist funny moments where developers go beyond enjoyable ideas of social media to bring users the possibility of managing a kind of internet currency. And although all coins are running through digital ecosystems, there exists one that was born with a not very clear purpose.
Dogecoin is a gold-designed currency running in both mobiles and desktop devices. It is a project that in the current date has decreased its services, this is perhaps to the low activity of the project for not covering essentials tasks as other projects do it. It does not manage difficult services, in fact, their users just need to download and install a wallet to the device they use. The process is simple to execute. I think, in general, the project does not serve financial purposes. Besides, the platform and the storage product it offers are of standard technology.
I remember I knew of Dogecoin a long time ago because of Youtube's tech commercial. For months, I've been waiting for updates for this platform, but even the wallet remains in the same version without major improvements. Dogecoin has some open-source networks to get its token, but they are currently in maintenance. So, although I'm an active social media user, I am not a Doge meme's follower.
However, there are some good things about the community and is about the active teams it has in some social media apps. They are always discussing interesting facts about the management of the platform, or news about the crypto-market. It is in some way a project linked to the updates of current movements. I've seen a partial movement of this token in some good casino platforms.
In conclusion, Dogecoin represents value to the internet when talking about the high exposition of its friendly facts, but it is not a project committed with any special purpose for social change. It does not offer, at least for now, any contribution to invest in financial freedom, which is what crypto-believers are looking for.
