Elrond's ability to serve multiple disciplines and deliver interoperability for decentralized applications is much more exciting and, in the long run, more important if we look at decentralized applications to mainstream audiences. Right now the scene in Dapp is fragmented, slow and in the hands of most developers.
Main factor is why the team behind Elrond goes unique against projects that are so focused on the place. Benjamin Minku (CEO) was previously part of the NEM core team, where he led business, marketing and community efforts for 1,5 years, helping to bootstrap the NEM blockchain from a concept to a global product. Lucian Minku (CIO) is a skilled infrastructure engineer with 8 years of experience in developing end-to-end startup products, including 8 years of experience in designing and applying highly technical yet comprehensive infrastructure and network solutions for large enterprise clients such as the German state.
Some of the partnerships they have ensure are very captivating. While I’d love to see some decentralized applications running on Elrond.
This is an incredible long-term hold that can pay off as the project develops further in the future. Stacking (rewards) is available on the network, making it very attractive to long-term holders and recipients of a passive income source in exchange.
