In my opinion, this platform, like ripple, which has introduced a new world to the cryptocurrencies space, has done the same thing.
IOTA is a cryptocurrency but it no longer uses their old blockchain network and that is why I said iota has introduced a new world. This network was the first crypto network to allow transfers without any fees. This was a great opportunity when iota was released. Early in the advent of iota, there was a lot of news about it and it became very popular, I even remember when iota was among the top 5 cryptocurrencies. A few years ago, there was news about the hack of this original wallet, which caused its value to decrease over time.
Currently, iota is ranked 24th in the coinmarketcap ranking and its reputation has been drastically reduced, which I think was one of the reasons for the entry of other networks that also had zero fee.
