Iota is one of the cryptocurrencies with greater future in terms of its implementation, its main feature is the interconnection of things being one of the pioneers in this type of technology where the blocks are implemented.
Chain of blocks under a conception different from the linear bitcoin, uses a mechanism of consensus and verification dististo that makes it highly scalable, light and fast.
However, it still does not have a great adoption of its network, and in an ambiguous way it is to emphasize that its development is formed independently of the traditional block chains.
There are other assets that have climbed quickly from position that have similar technical characteristics, being its main competitor Nano that quickly escalated in this market even though IOTA had more time in the market.

- It's free, transactions are almost instantaneous. For what was created, this network does its job well. to make small and fast transactions. very efficient to be implemented in daily life
Cons
- It did not have a good start distribution which makes it a disadvantage in the market a few have almost all currencies

The truth is one of the most successful currencies and it has served as a motivation to create better projects such as NANO, which is perhaps the only currency that has zero transactions and is highly divisible. However IOTA is the pioneer in this field.
