What would be amazing and I'd imagine one soon is another video from the chap about his progress. You never know though, he might just be having a couple days off because of the "shitstorm" and spend time with his kid. He has been flying around the US going to conventions and doing presentations etc. Can take its toll especially for chair potato geeks like us. 
  The biggest news is the tribe officially accepting the coin and the people using it. CNN will be used as a pump and dump, 10k or more.
  I've fixed the block explorer links at the pool, I'm also re-reading the chain into the database to correct the address issue, explorer should be back up in an hour or 2 once it's done reading all the blocks and transactions back in. Block explorer is up and showing correct MZC addresses.

Pros

boxxa ‏@boxxa 9mIt was brought to my attention one of the big unknowns are if the devs are still working on #MazaCoin. YES! I'm glad a lot of us can at least agree on the coin's price point needs to be higher in order for this whole endeavor to work. This should be Payu's main concern. Worrying about anything else at this point is moot. The foundation of this project needs to be the coin's price. What's with the order book on mintpal. maza buy orders and the next real one is at 1300. Edit: seems to have corrected itself now but it was quite a few of 1 maza buy orders.

Cons

sure multipools are a problem but the algo must be adjusted for them. devs dont want to change any technicals of the coin. multipools not going anywhere. algo of maza not being adjusted. so learn to live with it .....double digits here we come yay!!!!!! I don't think the OP of that thread understands the issue. Payu already stated he hired someone to both design the coin and create the website on his behalf. That person who designed the coin already admitted he created Maple coin as well, as a personal project. Maple has nothing to do with Payu, he just subcontracted this guy to design the coin and website (hence why the site is basically the same template).However. My real concern would be the premine now. If that is really the premine with a lot of movement, then it's game over for this coin. It's already been discovered that the creator of Aphrodite coin has been dabbing into the premine shares as well. Bottom line is. it is tough to trust these individuals when you have 0 control over half of the coins in circulation. You have to put an unbelievable amount of blind trust in them.
