Omisego is capable of doing a great job that can and will succeed as they keep developing the features behind it

Pros
  • Omisego is busy with one of the greatest futures that blockchain can possibly give , it is a long and hard way to get to the point where they are now. They need to keep maintaining the highest level of progression and I am sure that the project is going to have a wonderful future. If you are interested in how omg is going to change the logistics i would definitely advise to check them out.
Cons
  • Omg hase a small con and that is that even they have booked a lot of progression on the Ethereum network, they still dont have the opportunity to pay the gas in omisego.

OMG is the answer to a fundamental coordination problem amongst payment processors, gateways and financial institutions. OMG network, anyone will be able to conduct real-time, peer-to-peer transactions. If the project is well developed, it will be very successful.

Pros
  • OMG is an ERC20 Ethereum based token and can be stored on standard Ethereum wallets. OmiseGo is an interesting Project, fully public, currency agnostic decentralized exchange (DEX) network, secure and built to scale in¬nitely using the Plasma architecture.
Cons
  • The OMG Project needs more propagation.

I hope dogecoin will be expensive and wil have cost 1$ per coins

Pros
  • I like this project because they can replace bitcoin and ethereum in the money market. I'm happy if they have a high price
Cons
  • I don't know the road map is clearly or not. I think you should be repair it.

OmiseGo has seen better days for sure, just like the rest of the market. It has followed the slow bleed pattern of its crypto compatriots, falling from its late April highs of $21 USD to the lows of $8.71 USD, losing almost two thirds of its value in less than two months. The coin is stuck in a period of sideways movement and is currently traded at $9.13 USD (-0.20% drop in the last 24 hours). With a current market cap of $932,024,014 USD, OmiseGo is currently trying to supplant Ontology as the

Pros
  • OmiseGo is a public financial technology built on the Ethereum blockchain by Omise, a payment company based out of Thailand. The project is designed for use in mainstream digital wallets, enabling real-time, peer-to-peer value exchange and payment services across jurisdictions and organizational silos. OmiseGo uses the proof-of-stake consensus algorithm and operates as a decentralized bank, exchange, and asset-backed blockchain gateway. The platform aims to enable financial inclusion and disrupt existing institutions, and has coined the slogan “Unbank the Banked”.
Cons
  • OmiseGO is working with global conglomerates in the financial (SBI Holdings, Mizuho Bank Ltd., Bank of Ayudhya and others), mobile and e-money (TrueMoney and others), and supply-chain sectors (which cannot currently be disclosed). DMM Group and Ratuken are also a big possibility. The Thai government and all Omise’s merchants will be using the network. Also partnerships with Status, Kyber and possibly Golem, to name but a few. When the network launches this year, staking rewards will push the token value up.

OmiseGO as a project that was at some time relatively unknown, but actively promoted on various cryptocurrency-related communities and subreddits. OmiseGO promises an ecosystem through which currencies and other valuables could be exchanged among themselves directly and in a decentralized manner. I'm particularly excited about their ties with huge eCommerce firms and the tide they hope to turn in the Blockchain and Crypto world

Pros
  • They got a really experienced team that are crazy about updates. They got everything to displace PayPal and become a powerhouse in terms of Paymebt systems.
Cons
  • The platform wasn't straightforward for me at the beginning. This would really turn newbies off and make them not to explore OMG. But I believe with the latest updates, they'd be able to turn this leaf around

omisgo is the decentralized cryptocurrency which is very best for payment…

omisgo is the decentralized cryptocurrency which is very best for payment services. users get good benefits of payment and receive tokens/money. omisGO is the otherwise excellent project. and have bright future..

Pros
  • omisGO is one the best cryptocurrency also it is much beneficial for the users mostly just because of digital wallets also planning for such applications just for decentralized exchange launch. due to this positive point the peoples can easily tranfer money to other person just like p2p transaction .. the wallets supports fiat currency and cryptocurrency both.
Cons
  • As it is etherium based ERC-20 token so we need some amount of etherium as a fees of omisGO. this is one of the cones. otherwise this is a good coin.

OmiseGO also recently partnered with Dai to add the DAI stable coin to the OMG DEX. OmiseGo OMG is one of the strongest tokens on the Ethereum network, sitting at fourth place behind only EOS, TRX, and VEN in total market cap as of this writing. It has the third highest trading volume among Ethereum tokens and has the 11th highest individual token price. Because it’s built on Ethereum, it would appear OmiseGo OMG has the same competition as ETH. This includes Cardano, and especially NEO/GAS…

Pros
  • OmiseGO is aimed at providing financial services to Southeast Asia’s unbanked population. The OmiseGO blockchain supplements the existing Omise payment gateway and mobile wallet infrastructure. OmiseGO will eventually utilize Plasma on Ethereum for fast transaction speeds and Proof-of-Stake verification model for decentralization. Omise is backed by several prominent Asian VC firms and has backing from Thailand’s Central Bank and Ministry of Finance. Ethereum’s founders are consulting on OmiseGO.
Cons
  • This project has good prospects for the future, provided that the development team can successfully implement its plans on time. Some experts give an optimistic forecast for OmiseGO – about $100 per coin. If you decide to invest in this project, you should probably adjust to a long-term perspective, since the platform still requires a lot of improvements.

OMG's Name-Value Storage is a simple yet powerful concept that allows you to store arbitrary data within the blockchain. This has already allowed a range of distributed services, from a decentralized network. Although OMG supports traditional PoW mining and merged mining with Bitcoin, its main mechanism is Proof-of-Stake mining. This eliminates the “arm’s race” for mining capacity.

Pros
  • OMG is an open-sourced peer-to-peer cryptocurrency which forked from Peercoin in 2014. It uses both Proof-of-Stake and Proof-of-Work mining protocols. Developers describe OMG as more of a development platform than a cryptocurrency.
Cons
  • OMG also benefits from an active and creative user community, where users come together and discuss ideas, Great team and community no problems.

Generally they are advancing. Their team are really trying and advancing.

Pros
  • They have really enabled real-time, peer-to-peer value exchange and payment services agnostically across jurisdictions and organizational silos, and across both fiat money and decentralized currencies.
Cons
  • Nothing for now, but they should not be limited to Asia alone, they need to spread more

Overall, I like this ICO. It solves a real problem and has a better than average chance to succeed because of the backing it has from the business and tech community. For short-term holding Good because it has a strong team of advisors including Vitalik. This alone should guarantee the ICO would have a strong reception and be oversubscribed. People who could not get in during the ICO would want to invest after OMG is tradeable on exchanges.

Pros
  • Omise GO is a public Ethereum-based financial technology for use in mainstream digital wallets, that enables real-time, peer-to-peer value exchange and payment services across jurisdictions and organizational silos, and across both fiat money and decentralized currencies.
Cons
  • Great team awesome problem solving skill, I don''t think any major problem in it.

Overall omisego is an excellent project so many people trust omisego, omisego best method for spend and receive money, the roadmap have also great information

Pros
  • Omisego is the best cryptocurrency because of so many use cases such as opensource payment method they are also planning to such as their decentralized exchange launch; the roadmap is very clear their vision is also much better, omisego is still best way tospend and recieve money on retail market
Cons
  • we all know omisego is the best project we can use for payment method but omisego still running on an ethereum,s blockchain (ER20) but if we want to use omisego we need some ethereum because for the omisego transaction we need some ethereum for fees, so if you have omisego you need to hold ethereum also

Welcome to the OmiseGO Info Sheet from White Paper Pagoda. Below we have the OmiseGO white paper which can be read on this site or downloaded for future reading. We also include other useful information to assist your research, including links to exchanges so you can buy OmiseGO today. OmiseGO is a public Ethereum-based financial technology for use in mainstream digital wallets, that enables real-time, peer-to-peer value exchange and payment services agnostically across jurisdictions and…

Pros
  • In order to perform interchange of assets it is required that an order be placed across many different pairs on the open public market, requiring a decentralized orderbook and trading engine. The trading engine is built into the OMG blockchain, with orders being published, and matches made, as part of every block as soon as a matched order has reached a sufficient number of valid confirmations. This results in a non-custodial decentralized exchange held by a single party where the eWallet platforms may exchange onto other eWallet platforms without centralized trust.
Cons
  • OmiseGO’s goal to build a peer-to-peer payment network that can be used by anyone with a phone without the need of a bank account is definitely revolutionary. However, OmiseGO is not the only one trying to make this happen. OmiseGO’s slogan vying to “Unbank the Banked” reveals how big the project’s ambitions are. The technology behind OmiseGO makes it a platform supporting multiple applications like white-label software development kit (SDK), digital asset gateway, decentralized exchange and clearinghouse.

OmiseGO is undoubtedly running a race against itself. No one else is looking to achieve what the team is after and no one else is perhaps more fit for the job. All things considered, I believe OmiseGO has an attractive risk/reward profile that makes for a worthy a long term investment (for the right investor). Blockchain and cryptoassets possess the ability to change the way we interact, communicate, transact, and trust one another all around the world. I for one would love to see OmiseGO make…

Pros
  • OmiseGO is a subsidiary of Omise, a Thailand based payment gateway service for merchants and enterprise businesses. OmiseGO is on the forefront of providing those in Asia, particularly Southeast Asia, greater financial inclusion and a more efficient digital payments offering.
Cons
  • The problem - Billions around the world lack access to traditional banking, in Southeast Asia that number is approximately 483M, or 73% of its population.

Unlike banks, which store your cash as lines of code on central servers, blockchains are distributed on thousands of computers. And to hack one, you’d have to somehow hack them all. OMG uses their technology to feature payment gateways that are accessible easily by individuals and corporations, and a system that will help expedit trades and quick transactions.

Pros
  • I will have to laud the team behind OMG. Theyve built a suitable platform that can rival most payment systems abd it will only take some time to make a shift from the norm when you look at it from a prospective view
Cons
  • I feel they are a bit over concentrated with Asia. They've market in Europe and other continents but it still doesn't measure up to what they target

OmiseGO aims to be the next generation financial network and decentralized economy. Omg ecosystem offers White-label SDK, Digital Asset Gateway, Decentralized exchange and Clearinghouse. The OMG network is a proof-of-stake and aims to solve the scalable issue trough Plasma with a decentralized exchange built into its core consensus layer. The Plasma construction allows for low-cost security, scalability, and settlement for all financial applications that will run on the OMG network.

Pros
  • Development and team
Cons
  • Based its succes on Eth

There are many predictions about OmiseGo, I have a very strong opinion on the subject. It's important for me to say clearly that I am not an economic consultant and this is not professional advice and please do research before any decision you make. If their vision becomes a reality and the crypto market will remain stable. The currency will make an earthquake in the market. I really don't want to mention prices but if you think of a currency investment with high-profit I'm more than…

Pros
  • OmiseGO is a decentralised exchange that is in development and based on the Ethereum network for users to make peer-to-peer transactions with smartphone devices. It promises to ‘unbank the banked’ and enable transactions between states, countries, banks, and blockchains, with FIAT and cryptocurrency to provide a service that is historically centralised, inefficient and expensive.
Cons
  • At this point in time, it is difficult to find any faults with OmiseGO as it has a successful parent company, great ideas, a professional team, and plenty of support. The fact that it doesn’t have any working product to speak of cannot be overlooked though, and as promising as it might seem in theory there is still no guarantee of its success.

Built on the Ethereum platform, OmiseGO’s vision is to become the No. 1 peer-to-peer cryptocurrency exchange platform. OmiseGO is much more than an altcoin. It’s designed to be a financial platform, with the intent of disrupting current financial institutions and methodologies. It’s all built on top of Ethereum, one of the most popular decentralized application platforms on the market today.

Pros
  • They are the future of mobile payments. With an able team and top top partnerships in place, I believe Omisego would reach the goals its founders always believed it would reach.
Cons
  • Sometimes I find the team behind OMG a bit complacent, Maybe because of what they've achieved in a short while, but if they cab churn this iut, then I see them going extra miles.
