Review on Open Platform by Pedro O. Alvino M.

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Decentralized application development platform with high scalability.

The application market has grown lately these years, for this reason the development of open source applications has increased, but a large part of the tools that developers require have limitations and tend to have high costs, however, projects based on the blockchain such as Open Platform has a set of tools designed for the development of decentralized applications, in addition to having a mechanism where developers can execute their applications both inside and outside the Open chain, thanks to the smart contracts mechanism offered by the project.
The project focused on the development of open source applications, especially payment applications, enables several options in which developers can exploit the operation of their applications given the multipurpose chain that the project has, without having to have a API that is easily integrated into the chain of the platform and systematized smart contracts in the payment area.
The current problem that the project may contain is the number of competitors that are in the market, so that there are already several consolidated projects that have a good base of users and developers, something that Open Platform still lacks.

Pros
  • Offers a wide variety of tools for developers.
  • It has a chain designed for the development of decentralized applications.
  • The development kit provided by the project supports various programming frameworks.
  • Allows developers to deploy their applications on multiple chains through smart contracts.
  • Fully compatible with payment applications and their development.
Cons
  • There are already a large number of projects focused on the development of open source applications.
  • The native token of the platform has a poor performance in the market, which seriously affects the ecosystem of the project given its degree of utility.
