An abstract and outdated project
OracleChain (OCT) is the first application built of EOS ecosphere. OCT is built to link the services of blockchain technology with many real-life scenarios. It is a decentralized platform based on the EOS platform. With its self-sufficient Proof-of-Reputation and Deposit mechanism, it is adopted as a elementary service for other blockchain applications.
The function of Oracle Chain is to serve as an Eos based prediction market linking world data to the blockchain. This means it can work to provide valuable information to trading markets, decentralized insurance, instant flight delay compensation applications, sports bets and just about any other dapp requiring collectible outside data to function.
However, the project has not been modest to its claims and services. Its web page is available in only two languages and relays just a little of their concept without much details to clarify its visitors. The OCT token has good supply in the market but even then the project is obsolete and the company has gone in decline, mainly due to the lack of engagement and attention from its team and the lack of proper maintenance and adequate growth.
