Skycoin is a promising project
Skycoin is not just a cryptocurrency, but the SKY cryptocurrency is rather a complement to the overall Skycoin project, which consists of five main pillars. These are:
Cryptocurrency: Skycoin is a fast and secure cryptocurrency.
Skywire: A Safer Alternative for an Existing Internet, sometimes called Web 3.0
Skyminer: Hardware with which anyone can connect to Skywire. Something like an internet modem.
Fiber: Blockchain network that eliminates cryptocurrency rewards.
Skysuite: Several other decentralized applications.
Skycoin addresses the issues that stem from the centralization of the Internet, which is now in the hands of governments and large businesses they are trying to address it through full decentralization and networking in the hands of all its users.
