Review on Solana by Albert De Rieder
A blockchain with extremely high speed
I think Solana is a high potential cryptocurrency project. The blockchains can reach a maximum tps of over 65,000 (and the limitation seems to be of the hardware limit, not about the software part). The blockchain implements a concept of Proof-of-History to timestamp transactions and allow nodes to process transactions in parallel, which makes the transaction verification process much faster.
As I know, Solana is currently going to build a new smartphone that is fully compatible with the Solana blockchain and its DApps. The phone's operating system will be based on Android, but the team will modify the system to be able to work with all decentralized technology. I think their smartphone is pretty awesome.
