Wanted to use a 14 year old Dell Latitude 810C as a home server. The laptop came with Windows 2000 and since Windows XP is a thing of the past I installed an unused copy of Windows 7 Home 32 bit but the laptop performed poorly and was below usability level. Bought and installed this SSD drive and now the old laptop is awake enough to run and run the Windows 7 Home operating system. It was a cost effective solution to making something usable out of an old laptop rather than collecting dust IE I'm very happy with the purchase and the performance!
