This fun project is easy to follow but because of the color change I gave it 3 stars for beginners. It can look stunning with all the colors. The thread is not DMC quality, but it is ok and in sufficient quantity. Also, the ink is very dense in places where the colors and halftone lines overlap and clog the holes. Overall this is a fun project and I will be buying more kits from this company. I just finished and I have a few more thoughts. Due to the size I put it in a floor frame and twisted the ends. When it came time to change the colors I had to expand the whole thing to find the legend. I want them to have a separate printed table with the same characters as on the sheet. The thread colors do not match the colors of the pieces, so a blue square can indicate yellow thread, a yellow square red thread.
