I have 4 German Shorthaired Pointers. I breed and show my GSPs so it's important to keep their claws short. I use a Dremel with no power cord and have been sanding my dog's fingers with regular sandpaper wheels for decades. Adult APS have what I affectionately refer to as bear claws, and I often go over sandpaper. They also heat up, take longer, and can roughen nails. When I saw these, I had to try them. The best. They are much quieter, faster and leave beautiful and smooth nails. They also take a long time to heat up. My dogs, who have always taken good care of their claws, just love doing it now. I highly recommend it.
