not as expected. needed a ceiling mount for a tv that could be rotated/raised/lowered by hand without removing the screws. This is not the case with this mount, you will need to support the TV, remove a few bolts/nuts, adjust the mount and replace the bolts. definitely the work of two people with a hanging TV. Good quality mount but does not meet my original requirements. I'm going to build a counterbalanced pulley system in the attic so it can be adjusted without removing the hardware.
