Review on πŸ“ Accu-Gage TG75 4X4 Precision Pressure Gauge by Sheppard Priest

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Deviation of 7 psi or more

Would return if it wasn't too late. I had one that lasted 10 years with no problems. This new one lasted a few months. I realized this was not correct when one day I was told that all 4 tires were heavily inflated and I believed it because I had just returned from a gas station with an automatic tanker which I had never used before and i checked it again. (I always use my home compressor). I was concerned that the car had overinflated my tires so I popped them and suddenly the tire pressure light on the dashboard came on and the car's steering wheel suddenly became wobbly at low speeds. I checked the air in my other car with a pressure gauge and it told me all my tires were over-inflated, same as this one. From experience this tire is always 27psi and this gauge told me it was inflated to the high 30's. So I ordered another US assembled sensor (from around the world I was told by a Longacre rep) and this one is more believable and had an angled chuck as well as a ball chuck, but I like the angled chuck on this one better for my Toyota tires that have hard-to-reach Schrader valves. All tires filled and everything is back to normal. Now I have to throw this sensor in the trash.

Pros
  • Check, measure and check
Cons
  • Some errors
