Non-Boat Anchor Best in Bearing Pullers
Tool Quality. He grabbed the pilot bearing and held it tight. The inner diameter of my e30 pilot bearing is 12mm. But it turns out that the BMW supplier sent me id15mm. I'm ordering this tool to measure a new part id because I think this is the one I need and I measured a new one to make sure this tool works. I went to pull out the old thrust bearing on the car. and my heart sank. The sent pilot bearing has the wrong identifier. 15mm not for getrag260. 12mm. I ended up using just a hook and resting the base of the tool on a lightweight flywheel. It came out in a moan. Not sure if a cheaper two hook tool would work. It should be about 20 foot pounds on this tool to get it out. This tool is strong and heavy like a boat anchor. Not cheaply made.
