Worked on Honda K series input bushing

Worked on Honda K20 series engine to pull transmission input shaft bushing. The puller bracket just fits onto the crank flange.

Awesome It got me out of a jam

I had a pilot bearing that wouldn't come out with my other two pilot bearing pullers. This one has a much stronger hook pop-up mechanism and sharp flat hooks, it clamped the old bearing securely and came out in the end without damaging the crank. Another high quality OTC tool.

Pros
  • Handy thing
Cons
  • Like that

Sturdy and efficient

Pulls out easily from my 5/8" ID roller bearing, appears to be much stronger designed and built than required. Good for the workshop, car dealership or professional mechanic.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Hard to say

It's worth it Bearing puller

I tried 3 different cheaper pullers to remove the pilot bearing from my LS3 engine. One from an auto parts store, a cheaper 2-jaw puller from Revain, and another 3-jaw puller from Revain. Nothing helped except that puller. Its jaws are not cast and have much sharper edges than cheaper models. The pilot bearing, which I tried to pull off with other pullers for several days, came off within 5 minutes with this one.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • There are downsides

Non-Boat Anchor Best in Bearing Pullers

Tool Quality. He grabbed the pilot bearing and held it tight. The inner diameter of my e30 pilot bearing is 12mm. But it turns out that the BMW supplier sent me id15mm. I'm ordering this tool to measure a new part id because I think this is the one I need and I measured a new one to make sure this tool works. I went to pull out the old thrust bearing on the car. and my heart sank. The sent pilot bearing has the wrong identifier. 15mm not for getrag260. 12mm. I ended up using just a hook and…

Great tool. for puller

I tried removing the pilot bearing on the LS2 with a slide hammer puller which partially destroyed the needle bearings and didn't move the outer bushing at all. rented a puller very similar to this one from a local auto parts store that completely destroyed the needle bearings and wouldn't even move them. The "fingers" gripping the bearing are sharp, unlike the one I rented which was rounded. Sharp edges grip the bearing much better. This tool has saved me from drilling, cutting or any other…

Disappointing. Worked once in 3 different jobs

This tool used to give good results removing pilot bearings from diesel trucks. The shop I currently work at didn't have this, so I bought mine. The jaws are usually released and retracted without pulling the bearing. The crossbar that pushes the jaws appears to open up from the bottom, where it needs to be tightened more to put more pressure on the puller's arms to make them fit snugly against the bearing. . I've tried tweaking it to make it work, but it still doesn't do the job I got it for…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • unreliable

A tool that does exactly what it says on the tin

I got this tool to remove some stubborn 1/2" ID bearings that wouldn't come out with a back hammer. At first I thought the jaws were too wide to go through (and even found a review from the person who decided to grind them), but then I noticed that if I loosened the bar completely and they wobbled against each other, with some wobble and wobble, they fit. If you're still having trouble, you can completely remove the jaws from the bar and slide them one at a time, then reassemble. Interestingly,

  • Works great for me
