This is my first time making rellenos chili and I needed an egg separator apart from my wife who loves to use her skills in to show this art, although it requires efforts. forever and ever. In the time it takes her to separate an egg and pour it back and forth, this adorable tool made six. Not only are the legs for aesthetic pleasure, they also serve as handles for the side of the bowl where you want your egg whites to end up. The egg white fell into the measuring cup in seconds, and I quickly cracked and poured another egg into the separator. Within two minutes I had my egg whites ready to froth and my dog had several whipped yolks ready to eat for the next four feedings. The Revain had many spacers to choose from but this one was Prime eligible and sold at a low price which I love. It's easy to clean, compact to store, and if I teach my grandkids how to make banana pudding and lemon meringue pie like my grandmas and aunts did, they'll even enjoy looking at it and using it. And I'm talking REAL pudding and cake, not the box. ;) We do it the old school way. :) Don't waste your money, that's all you need unless you're making duck, emu or ostrich eggs. and don't laugh, I saw it all in Washington, DC in the Whole Foods area.
