Review on ๐Ÿšด Experience Easy Navigation with Garmin Edge 130, a Compact GPS Cycling Computer by Siu Kth แ Œ

Revainrating 5 out of 5

One of the best offers, glad I bought it.

So far, the impressions are ambiguous: on the one hand, it writes a track in detail, works with Live segments, it is possible to connect sensors, but all the pluses are crossed out by loss of sections and deviations, which is unacceptable for such a device. I will experiment with the operating modes (I will turn off the connection with the phone during the check-in, temporarily turn off the sensors, try the GPS + GLONASS and GPS + GALILEO modes), it may turn out to achieve more stable operation.

Pros
  • Compact, good assembly, high-quality screen, work with speed/cadence/pulse sensors.
Cons
  • I made 3 test races a little more than 10 km each, most of the races I write quite accurately, but it can both lose individual sections and write with a deviation of up to 30 meters (see the recorded track: black sections - omissions, blue - deviation). The tracks were written immediately on the Edge 130 and Strava on the phone - the phone recorded everything and with fewer errors. A lesser problem is that when viewing a recorded track on a device, it is impossible to zoom.
