I make coffee every morning and have always used a regular aluminum espresso pot. Over time it started to rust and I had to replace it. So I found out they make them out of stainless steel, so I found this one by the looks of it and the description says it's 100 percent stainless steel. However, the metal used in the water tank is not rust resistant. If you don't clean and dry it soon after use, it will start to rust. I've been using it for a few months and several times I didn't disassemble it and immediately dried the water tank and now it's rusting. (Addendum) I kept it because I really like the look, so I used steel wool (Brillo) to remove the rust and made sure to clean and dry it after each use. Pot. I found real stainless steel from Italy, brand Alessi. Expensive $200 but I'll never have to buy one again.
