Removes rattle without reducing volume too much. I put 2 of these on a 2008 Cadillac CTS 3.6 DI that I had previously removed the resonator with an X-Pipe. So now it's removed the cross-tube resonator, the cherry bombs right in front of the mufflers, and the stock mufflers. Sounds very good. The normal resonator kills all wheezing, but it also kills all sound. It was an amazing upgrade because in normal driving it sounds really nice and quiet and when you flat out it really opens up. I don't think any other aftermarket exhaust will sound much better than this one. The Cadillac CTS exhaust is weird because the center resonator really does all the work in the exhaust. Just started with X Pipe and it sounded terrible. There should have been cherry bombs in there to cut the rasp.
