So it was pretty obvious where the problem was when it started.
My Craftsman lawnmower's old fuel solenoid was clogged and almost caught fire, so it was pretty obvious what the problem was when it started glowing red when I tried to start the mower. This replacement seemed a little pricey for such a small part but my lawn mower is running again so I'm happy.
