Registering a phone on iPhone seemed to take forever and it hit the mark. It finally worked, but the sound quality wasn't very good, and if someone decides to switch from the handset to the originally registered cell phone, the call is disconnected. Eventually I realized that my 6 year old Panasonic phone system had more to offer and registration was quick and easy. It's ok, it's just not worth spending money or even trying to set it up. Given previous phones, I expected more from Vtech. Update: I've found that my 6 year old Panasonic phones (4 headsets) are easier and quicker to sync to the iPhone than the new Vtech, and good 'old' Panasonic phones have been better quality since then. Everything has changed today, hasn't it? Same problem as picking up the handset, go to your cellphone and the call gets disconnected. Be warned. I haven't found a way to bypass this. However, Vtech phones are good, but syncing (or pairing) was slow compared to my old phones.
