Review on Magpul Patrol Glove 2.0: Lightweight Tactical Leather Gloves for Enhanced Performance by Mark Harris

What's the matter with you, Magpul?

I just don't know what Magpul, who normally make good products, thought when they missed something like this in their quality control. The defect is so obvious that the only explanation, at least in my mind, is that Magpul simply doesn't care. Imagine looking palm up at your left glove and seeing that one of the seams on the pinky runs straight down the middle. Sad, yes, but the list of issues with these gloves doesn't end there. These other issues, on the other hand, have little or nothing to do with quality control, but they are all inevitable consequences of poor design. If one tries to use a pair as shooting gloves, one has to ask directly and loudly why such gloves have to have rather stiff inward seams. I've felt a number of hotspots unlike any other glove I've worn on the range. Two in particular bothered me the most: the index finger, and yes, right there where it touches the trigger, and the thumb, where the stitching runs right over the finger pad - another egregious and therefore careless oversight. The first was particularly uncomfortable, the thumb contributed a lot, and both caused a bit of heartache in about an hour. To add insult to injury, simply applying it the next day revitalized any seemingly neglected areas with a burning sensation. And that feeling is now my firm resolve to send her back. Just to be fair... I have another pair of different Magpul gloves, B084NX342N (also sold by Revain so no conflict), they are thinner but much more comfortable to shoot. And no flaws.
