I have several versions of Phthalo Blue and they are actually BLUE, not purple like in this pack. The manufacturer must send a real Phthalo-BLUE. Otherwise it's a great set, it's essentially acrylic paint with mica powder added which anyone can do but it's good that it's already mixed thoroughly. Mica gives paintwork a metallic sheen. You may have seen this with some beauty products, such as B. with shimmering eye shadow. Those are the paints. I really like the code they put on each individual bottle so you know if it's opaque or clear. Apparently the previous reviewer didn't notice the transparency code on the bottles and used the wrong colors. Opaque colors cover very well. The lightfastness code on the bottle is also a nice touch. If you need something lightfast, you can easily choose the right palette. It's nice to have 12 brushes too, there are a few rare styles here that you don't often find in a cheap set...fan brush and comb. The paint dries quickly so projects are not delayed. So not for drawing large areas unless you are very fast. LOL Very happy with the purchase.
