Review on πŸš— Dorman 902-205 Engine Coolant Pipe: A Reliable Black Pipe for Ford/Mercury Models by Joe Jordan

This is a piece of SH*T

This was originally a great item. Immediately after the return period expired, I encountered another leak from the same region in Taurus. I've noticed that coolant is leaking around the lower hose that attaches to this plastic manifold on the back of the assembly. Now it is actually leaking through the bottom of the plug and the leak is even worse than before. DO NOT BUY THIS PART. GO OEM, IT WILL COST THE EXTRA MONEY. Honestly, to hell with this part and the people who made it so inferior. I'm so pissed I'm living paycheck to paycheck and just because of some idiot engineer I'm now stuck wasting another Saturday replacing the damn thing and wasting another $100. Thanks Revain for selling a terrible product and thanks Dorman for absolutely NOTHING! ------------- ---------------------- Fits exactly like the old 2001 Ford Taurus. SES 24v. I'd recommend replacing the thermostat while you're there so it doesn't crash and have to clean out all that crap again. It gets easier if you remove the airbox and battery. On the other hand, this guy takes an amazing inventory of a part that usually fails (I had the same thing, a degas clutch that Ford does NOT sell separately from assembly and that charges about $200 for the whole damn thing) and he invents his own Part, after all the engineers were mad at Ford for the crappy design. [.] Hope that helps! My leak is fixed!
