I read all the negative reviews about this Zoomba S9+. I decided to try this robot as it would fill a need. I'm definitely glad I did it. I'm an electrical engineer, so I'll give you a shovel. You should know that I almost never give 5 star ratings, but this robot can't be better in every category. First, this robot can't do what you can't. So if you run the vacuum on a small, light bathroom rug, vacuum it up. So get it out of the way and vacuum the floors. We tried anyway and rolled up the Zoomba mats. He tried heroically but failed. We chose to close the bathroom door as we don't need to vacuum our tile floors. However, this stubborn little devil works hard to clear every nook and cranny. I have no idea how some people found scratching the baseboard. In my experience it moves very delicately without hitting anything too hard. He would rather go back and forth many times than hit something too hard. He cleared and mapped two floors of my house. This is truly amazing artificial intelligence. It comes under beds and close to everything you have underneath. If you have a cable in it, it will get stuck on it. So does your vacuum cleaner. This made another mistake. He managed to get under a small dresser and couldn't get out. The easy fix was to put something under him so he wouldn't try again. We have Persian rugs on the ground floor. It works hard but cleans the tassel mat and around it with no problem. We put a stopper under our bedroom door to keep it from opening the door to hide the opening in the closet. You would close the door when you vacuum in the closet. never mind Two closed doors. A doorstop. We go to the races. I just can't get my wife to stop it. It was replaced and is very happy. When she runs out of juice, she goes home and empties her bag. What more could you ask for in a robot hoover? The app on my iPhone works flawlessly and does exactly what you need it to do. I could clear a room on the floor, but I have nothing to clear in my house. It's expensive, but I'm not sending it back. We love it. Buy it. Anyone who writes a negative review does so because of an operating error.
