I have a bread recipe that I use quite often that calls for two tablespoons of honey. This little cup is great for measuring sticky honey for a recipe. Therefore I give 4 stars. However, the description says it can be washed in the dishwasher, but I'm not sure. The packaging probably warned me not to put it in the bottom rack of the dishwasher, but of course I no longer have the packaging. The easiest way to get those little plastic items in the dishwasher is to toss them in the cutlery rack below. After several washes, the inner piston warped. It still measures correctly, but I can't push all the honey out with the plunger. This is really my fault and if the listing said TOP RACK was dishwasher safe I'd give this damn thing five stars. It's good for measuring sticky substances, but keep it on the dishwasher.
