The item was initially shipped in two ill-fitting outer boxes butt glued together. I don't think I could find a suitable shipping box. Second: The inner box (of the product) has been crushed. - looked like they ran it over with a forklift before putting it in a shipping box (which wasn't crushed). Third, the paint on the item's cast iron base has chipped in several places. Apparently it happened before packing because. there were no shavings in the box Fourth: the hole in the cast iron base is too small for the rod. I had to drill it out. Fifth: The thumbscrews look like someone modeled them in their garage by soldering a washer onto the head of the screw. Opinion: Very crappy product. Poorly made, poorly packaged for shipping. The seller should even be ashamed for wearing that crap!
