Not the same as the Wix I bought at my local auto parts store.

So I bought this to replace the Wix air filter that was on my Jeep and needed replacing. The one I took out was "Made in USA" and this one says "Made in China". The US made filter I removed was much stronger than this one. The Chinese-made filter was much more flexible than the stiffer American-made filter. Had I known, I would have spent the extra $8 and gone back to the parts store this time. It still fits, but at the same time there are other Chinese options at a lower price.
