Bought a citrus wood reamer. In terms of design, I really like the shape. The pointed end helps get a good grip, and the traditional expander shape is probably the most effective for getting the most juice out. The size is suitable for both lemons and limes, but will be too small for oranges. (which suits me). The biggest problem, however, is that the wood is not treated. Especially at the end, small burrs need to be ground off, which requires some kind of coating (e.g. wax or walnut oil). If you don't mind taking the time to do this, then it will probably work for you. BUT. I bought this new one and didn't get a new one. The package has been opened. Apparently I received a returned one that was supposed to be sold as 'like new'. If I ordered it like that, it would be fine. But I ordered a brand new one and to be honest I was tired of the lack of quality control at Revain. Conclusion: Good shape/design, but a bit cheap/half-finished. I would probably look for the same design but better quality from another brand.
