I bought this alarm clock based on all the positive reviews here on Amazon but I can't understand why there are so many positive reviews, this is the worst alarm clock I have. ever used. The design is awful, the controls for setting the alarm are counterintuitive to say the least, the snooze time is only 5 minutes, which is perhaps what I hate the most. To turn off the alarm, press any button on the back ONCE; to turn it off, press either button twice. Because of this, I accidentally turned off the alarm clock many times. If you press the button ONCE but really wanted to turn it off, you have to wait 5 minutes for it to beep again to turn it off. it has several positive points: 1. looks cool. 2. You can turn off the light completely and activate it by sound (although this doesn't work very well in practice). 3. It has three alarms that you can set at different times. 4. It can be programmed not to wake you up on weekends. If the snooze duration were programmable and the controls were better and not so confusing, this would be a real winner. I tried it for a few months and decided enough was enough, I had woken up late too many times and had to replace it.
