Edit: See image of injuries from wearing *less than 4 hours*. In addition to the very loose fit around the ankle, the top edge of the boot also rubs horribly on the inside of my calf. I have more pronounced side calves than many other people. So if you have very thin calves, this might not be a problem at all. The product is a bit large compared to normal shoes, but not so much that I would recommend going up the size. Where they appear too large is around the ankle and lower calf. When I walk there is too much material in these boots that flexes and bunches at the ankles. I have above average calves and the boot fits my calves well.
