This drive is a lot smaller than I thought it would be, which is a good thing as it takes up less space on your keychain. The drive heats up during operation, which is probably a result. The drive is too tight in normal USB 3 slots, but it works. The reading speed is extremely fast - for files up to 1GB I can't even see the speed when doing a Windows transfer as it finishes before the progress bar can show up. The writing speed is not constant. When I copy small files, it's very fast. When I copy something in the range of a few hundred MB it starts off fast and then seems to exhaust its faster memory and go from 100+ MB/s to 2-4 MB/s before returning to an intermediate value. I couldn't find a way to fix this. It still works, but note that the writing speed is much slower than, for example, copying to an SSD or SD card.
