Tiny, fast read, inconsistent write speed

This drive is a lot smaller than I thought it would be, which is a good thing as it takes up less space on your keychain. The drive heats up during operation, which is probably a result. The drive is too tight in normal USB 3 slots, but it works. The reading speed is extremely fast - for files up to 1GB I can't even see the speed when doing a Windows transfer as it finishes before the progress bar can show up. The writing speed is not constant. When I copy small files, it's very fast. When Iโ€ฆ

Super fast! but can be a little finicky with a USB hub.

I first tried the drives (I bought 3) in my USB 3.1 hub on my desk and it read the drive first and I was able to see the Lexar files it contained. However, as soon as I tried to write to the disc, Windows no longer recognized it. All three made it. I tried it on another computer and it worked fine, and when I tried it in the native port on my PC it worked fine too. I just think there might be problems with the USB hub. I use the hub for my peripherals and other USB drives with no issues, so the

Love these little flash drives

I bought a 32GB and a 64GB drive each for OS installation and general use. I tested both with H2testw, both drives were genuine and within their rated capacity. I also ran a speed test with CrystalDiskMark and got about 235MB/s sequential read and 40MB/s sequential write, which is frankly excellent considering how cheap they cost. They get hot when transferring a lot of data, but not dangerous. High-performance flash drives like this generate a lot of heat anyway, and the metal casing seems toโ€ฆ

Affordable data storage

I bought this disc because I needed a faster drive than a sand disc when transferring files to my PS3. I make regular transfers so I wanted to go fast. This drive costs about the same as your regular Sandisk drive. Sandisk is a major manufacturer of USB flash drives and has a good reputation. I would still recommend them if you're looking for reliability, although the warranty on this drive is the same (5 years). Speed: The drive is said to be capable of up to 250 megabytes per second, andโ€ฆ

Lexar Brand - Made in Taiwan - Small Metal Flash Drive

Read speeds easily reach 200+ MB/s with just one USB 3.0 port. Tests show that the write speed is around 60MB/s. Depending on the test, I was able to score 60 points, but was stable in the write speed range of 58-60 MB/s. This device is made in Taiwan, so there is no ChiCom working support here. The device comes in Fat32 format with a cluster size of 128 KB, so the capacity is around 117 GB. I formatted ExFAT with a cluster size of 8192 bytes to reduce my capacity to 116GB. Note that a smallerโ€ฆ

USB 3.1 is NOT suitable for storage

This flash drive is junk. Not even close to the speed of USB 3.1 as Lexar claims. Check out the pictures and yes I plugged it into the correct port on my laptop. The read speed isn't much better, around 30MB. I tried copying multiple files, one of which was 28GB, and it took over an hour, more like 2 hours. The second file I tried to copy was just over 2GB, but it still took a few minutes. The only thing that seems right about this flash drive is the capacity, which is just under 32GB (normal)โ€ฆ

Good stick! Warm? OK, what does that mean?

I have no idea why Revain needs a "warmth" rating on a USB drive. You mean the temperature during operation, and then what does 1-5 mean? word of honour! In any case, the Lexar M45 64GB USB 3.1 Flash Drive (LJDM45-64GABSLNA) arrived in record time and I checked its movements. Downloading 63GB of video (when reformatted to ExFAT - FAT32 doesn't even try to download more than 4GB) averaged around 45MB/s and remained the same throughout the recording period. The Lexar, while warm to the touchโ€ฆ
